how to participate

If you have geotagged photos:

Share your foraging knowledge with others by geotagging natures edible plants at your nearby asylumcenter. If you don’t have a GPS enabled camera or smartphone, you can use a handheld GPS unit to append longitude and latitude coordinates to each image. We’ll map your findings into the fieldguides after you upload your images to opensourcefood.info’s dropbox. To gain access to opensourcefood’s dropbox, send us an e-mail at dropboxinvite@opensourcefood.info. For more information about how to geotag photographs drop us a mail and/or follow this link to get started

If you have photos (non-geotagged):

Even though you’re unable to geotag your photos you can still contribute. Send us an e-mail with your images and a short description of when and where they were taken. All you need to do is upload your images to opensourcefood.info’s dropbox. To access opensourcefood’s dropbox, send us an e-mail at dropboxinvite@opensourcefood.info

If you have recipies:

Upload your recipes to opensourcefood.info’s dropbox with relevant information (season and name of chef) and we’ll post them on the site. To access opensourcefood’s dropbox, send us an e-mail at dropboxinvite@opensourcefood.info

If you want to go an excursion with opensourcefood:
